EV Chargers

Powering the Future of Sustainable Driving

Why Install an EV Charger?

At VitoEnergy, we’re passionate about accelerating the transition to sustainable living. Installing an electric vehicle (EV) charger at home or work is a key step toward reducing emissions and embracing a greener lifestyle. Your EV charger is one part of the puzzle to achieve a zero (point of use) carbon home and removing fossil fuels from your life.

Charging your EV at home or work is convenient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly. Here’s why you should consider installing an EV charger:

Convenience: Charge your EV overnight or during the day, eliminating the hassle of public charging stations, if you haven't tried it yet, this is such a luxury that I completely take for granted now.

Increased speed over a wall charger: The charger that (often) comes with your vehicle will only charge to below 3kw whereas a normal single phase charger can get up to 7kw and if you have 3-phase available up to 22kw. In reality most cars can’t use above 11kw so it's worth checking your model before bothering with the expensive upgrade.

Savings: Lower your fuel costs by charging at off-peak electricity rates, typically we save about 70% of our travel cost by charging between 11pm-5am.

Sustainability: Reduce your reliance on fossil fuels and make the most of renewable energy sources.

Professional, polite and considerate
"Really impressed with the level of service, from getting a quote and booking the job, to the excellent work done by Greg and Liam doing our upgrade to a Combi boiler. They were very professional, polite and considerate, happy to work around any problems and keep us informed of the progress, and the work looks to have been completed to a very good standard. Much appreciated!"

Tremendously responsive and good natured
"I had to replace an old gas boiler that was no longer up to spec and there was some extra work necessary to ensure the flue could be fully assessible. VitoEnergy gave me a really great quote and did the job in rapid order - I was very pleased with the installation but had an issue with some of the flue routing. However - they were incredibly responsive, absolutely addressing the issue post haste and moreover pointing out and resolving another couple of issues on my gas supply that I didn't realise needed addressing. They are a tremendously responsive and good natured, friendly company and I have no hesitation in recommending them."
