VitoEnergy has partnered with City Plumbing to offer a new heat pump installation umbrella scheme designed for non-MCS accredited installers. This partnership provides a streamlined route for installers to access government grants, including the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, while benefiting from full support and financial flexibility.
By operating under VitoEnergy’s MCS accreditation, installers can reduce paperwork and ensure their customers qualify for the government grant. VitoEnergy goes beyond accreditation by offering comprehensive support, including system design, heat loss calculations, free industry-leading software, and assistance with DNO applications. Installers also have the option of an in-person site visit on the first day of installation to ensure a smooth process.
A unique advantage of this partnership is that installers can purchase materials from City Plumbing at trade account prices, with full price transparency. This eliminates the need to buy marked-up materials from other scheme providers, offering better cash flow with up to 30 days to settle payments.
“We’re solving common barriers for installers, including financial and administrative challenges,” said Jez Climas, Head of Business Development for Renewables at City Plumbing. “By partnering with VitoEnergy, installers can rely on full support, plus our product range and services to grow their heat pump business.”
The scheme is currently available at select City Plumbing branches across the South of England and up to the north Midlands, with in-person support provided by VitoEnergy’s expert team.
Patrick Wheeler, from VitoEnergy, added: “This partnership elevates installer support to the next level, giving them the tools and financial freedom to confidently expand their business in the renewables sector.”
